Note from SDCC to Councillors on proposed Integenerational Centre, Tymon Park Please note that construction work on the proposed Intergenerational Centre, Tymon Park, Wellington Lane, Templeogue Dublin 6W, is due to begin shortly. The contractor is expected to mobilise in the park in September. The facility will be located between the pond and the carpark and will consist of a single-storey building containing a café and a multi-functioning community space. More details of the project can be found on South Dublin County Council’s website at the link below- Tymon Park - SDCC During the construction period the contractor will occupy a portion of the carpark with a works compound, reducing the number of available carparking spaces. Signs will be placed in the carpark notifying park users, and the local school (St. Mac Dara’s Community College) has been contacted regarding the upcoming works. Access to the bring banks will be maintained. South Dublin County Council apologises for any inconvenience to the public that may arise during the construction period of this new facility. Note from SDCC on Draft Litter Plan: In accordance with the provisions of Section 10 of the Litter Pollution Acts, it is proposed to replace the Litter Management Plan 2020-2022. A Draft Litter Management Plan has been prepared for consultation purposes. The Draft Plan may be viewed on the Council’s consultation portal https://consult.sdublincoco.ie/ from tomorrow, Friday the 4th of August 2023 until Tuesday the 19th of September 2023. The Draft Plan will also be available for inspection at County Hall, Tallaght, Civic Centre, Clondalkin and at all Council Libraries during business hours from Tuesday the 8th of August to Tuesday the 19th of September As part of the consultation process, the Council welcomes submissions, comments or ideas in relation to the draft plan from community, voluntary and representative bodies, including residents’ associations, Tidy Towns groups, Chambers of Commerce etc., as well as from individuals. The final date and time for receipt of submissions or observations on the draft plan is 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 19th of September 2023 Submissions or observations may be made on the consultation portal until 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 19th of September 2023 OR In writing, addressed to the Senior Executive Officer, South Dublin County Council , Environment, Water & Climate Change, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, to be received before 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 19th of September 2023.
